Mijn eerste show als knoper…
The weeks before I
wasn't very stressed with the idea of giving a show. Until the day
before.... On Friday I first realised that the show would be the next
day already. Damn, that's pretty soon! Friday and the remainder of the
Saturday was pretty nervous... hoping that everything would go as
planned.
The drive up to the party wasn't a big success. We got lost, and when
we finally found the way, it was closed. In the end we arrived an hour
later than we had planned. But we were in time for the show. First we
had a drink and dragged a totally surprised Lydia onto the dancefloor
for a bit of dancing before the show. Lydia had never been at a fetish
party before, and looked as if she had landed on Mars.
During the dancing and
waiting my confidence grew, but so did my
nervousnes. I was glad when I could finally start. Rigging, hurrah,
that's what I came for. From the moment I started tying, I didn't see
much more from the party. It went great!!! A lot better than any of the
rehearsals. I felt that I tied much more supple and when Lydia finally
hung the party really got started. I had lots of space. Great, a show
with 2 metre long bamboo rod, but the swing I use for practice is also
about 2 metres wide, so it doesn't leave much room for movement. I had
already tried - without the rod - if Lydia could handle swinging and
turning in a suspension, and that went very well.... and now I could
push and swing her around with the rod and all attached. Now that was
action!
I noticed how much fun
"playing" during the was. The
rehearsals had gotten more and more boring the more we had been
repeating the same ties over and over again.... but with all the space
I had and the pretty faces Lydia was making, and how beautiful she hang
in the light... Yeah, I was enjoying myself!
I had the feeling that the
show went by pretty fast. And then there was the moment that I had
feared the most. The untying. Iwas afraid that perhaps all the ropes
would get tangled and I would need an eternity for the untying. So this
was one stress-moment in the show. I had even bought a few additional
biners so I would be able to tie each rope to a separate biner. That
turned out well, each rope through its own biner prevented a lot of
searching for the right rope ends, something that had bothered me
during some of the rehearsels.
After the show I saw that
Lydia needed some cuddling, so I cuddled her while she was still in her
harness. That turned out to be a deep subspace trigger for her; Lydia
sank away, and for the remainder of the night she went completely
quiet. Fortunately we had someone to drive us home, so we all got home
safely.
